Restaurant in Volterra
The restaurant is located on the ground floor in one of the renovated farm buildings that dates back to the end of the 19th century. There are two dining areas which can accommodate up to a hundred people. The traditional rustic farmhouse atmosphere provides a cosy, convivial environment with long tables (unless you have specific requirements) to enjoy a meal all together, ideal for a group of friends or simply to make new acquaintances. We serve authentic home cooked meals, a blend of classical Tuscan and Sardinian recipes in keeping with traditional farmhouse cooking.
All our dishes, exclusively and attentively prepared in the farm kitchen, mostly feature the organic produce crafted on the farm and enhanced by carefully selected locally sourced organic, seasonal ingredients. We cater for guests with dietary requirements such as food intolerance or allergies and offer vegetarian and vegan meals.
When you have finished your meal, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, you are very welcome to purchase some of the products you have eaten at our on- site shop. The shop sells organic produce crafted on the Lischeto farm: ewe’s milk and cow’s milk cheeses, yogurt, extra virgin olive oil, honey, freshly made pasta and carefully selected organic produce from nearby farms. By order only, we also prepare festive Christmas hampers and gift hampers for any occasion or event.

Our organic shop is open to the public from Monday to Sunday 9 a.m – 5.30 p.m. Come and visit us!
