For love of nature

The Giovanni Cannas's Fattoria Lischeto is a family run farm surrounded by 150 hectars of land. It enjoys spectacular panoramic views of gently rolling hills and the calanchi, natural erosion phenomena of ancient origin.
It is located 5 km away from Volterra, on the provincial road of Monte Volterrano.

Over the years the farm house has been entirely renovated and divided into rooms and apartments rented all year round to international guests.

The apartments vary in size, from 18 to 70 sq.metres, housing from 2 to 6 guests. Each apartment is fully equipped with bathroom, kitchenette, a double bed and central heating.

Furthermore the holiday farm offers a swimming pool (12m x 6m), BMX hire, country walks, horse riding (5 km away) and guided visits.

The farm also provides good Tuscan cuisine where you can taste all the farm products in the spacious, rustic dining hall. Groups of people come from all over the world to eat at our famous Taverna.
The organic cheese, honey and extra virgin olive oil are also sold on the premises.

Guests are welcome to visit the farm, the milking of the more than 1000 sheeps and the making of the cheese.

We are using exclusively renewable energy in the whole farm.
